Ain Shams University Board honors its current president and a number of its former presidents

Today, Ain Shams University Board honored Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, in appreciation of his role and the achievements he achieved throughout his presidency of the university, where Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, former Minister of Health, and former President of Ain Shams University, awarded the honorary shield on behalf of the esteemed board.

         
   
         

The board also honored a group of former university presidents, namely, Prof. Abdel Wahab Abdel Hafez, Prof. Muhammad Awad Tag El- Din, Prof. Hussein Essa, Prof. Ahmed Zaki Badr and Prof. Abdul Wahab Ezzat.

This came in the presence of the members of the esteemed council, including the Vice-Presidents of the University: Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the deans of the faculties, and a group of council members from home and abroad.

         
   
         

The board praised the efforts of everyone who presided over the ancient Ain Shams University and assumed the responsibilities of development and progress for the better, and to provide all aspects of support and giving to the ancient university without waiting for anything in return.

The board also affirmed that the most important characteristic of everyone who holds this high position is that he starts from where the others ended, in implementation of the principle of continuing achievement, in application of the philosophy of succession of generations, and in the belief that Ain Shams University deserves to achieve a better position at all times.

         
   
         

The board also praised all the dignitaries who held the position of president of Ain Shams University throughout its history, stressing that their extreme sincerity and vision in managing the university qualified them to assume political positions and greater responsibilities at the level of the Egyptian state.
