Based on the keenness of Ain Shams University to achieve excellence and competition, and as a continuation of the leadership of Ain Shams University in the field of awards through its pioneering and distinguished scholars in various fields, and to benefit from the practical experience of the recipients of prestigious awards, the University Awards Office continued its meetings in cooperation with the electronic portal and held its forty-second meeting for the recipients on the 18th of July 2023, it was held at the headquarters of the Networking and Information Technology Center at the university, under the supervision of Dr. Islam Hegazy, Executive Director of the Center for Networking and Information Technology, Prof. Rasha Ismail, Director of the Electronic Portal, Prof. Alaa Abdel Halim Farag, General Supervisor of the Awards Office at the University.

The Awards Office hosted Prof. Magda Mansour Hassab Al-Nabi, Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Girls at the University, and recipient of the Ain Shams Appreciation Award in the field of Social Sciences 2022, where her sovereignty had distinguished scientific efforts represented in the membership of the Permanent Scientific Committee for the Promotion of Professors for the thirteenth session and the membership of the Committee of Arbitrators for three consecutive sessions, including the current session, Her Excellency worked as a trainer and educational advisor for many local and international bodies in the field of education development, and she trained dozens of teachers in Egypt and abroad on effective teaching methods and active learning. She also participated in research papers at many international conferences inside and outside Egypt, and she gave many lectures as a visiting professor on topics of Arabic and American Arabic translation and literature, teaching literature, and educational leadership.
During her academic mission in the United States, Prof. Magda Hassab Al-Nabi carried out a remarkable activity in international publishing. She published several chapters in books for famous publishing houses. Recently, she published a study on Latifa Al-Zayyat and her influence on Egyptian women writers.
Her Excellency has also published nearly 25 papers in the field of specialization published in prestigious specialized journals, and she has answered the invitation of a number of American universities, including the University of Miami-Florida, Oregon-Eugene, and Illinois Urbana-Champaign, to continue her research and lecture as a visiting professor on the topics of Arabic and Arab-American translation and literature. educational leadership, Her Excellency has a research that has been published in Women's Studies, which is published by the Taylor & Francis Foundation and is a highly rated journal.
At the local level, Prof. Magda Hassab Al-Nabi discusses many master's and doctoral theses and arbitrates research in most universities in Egypt, and she has many translations and distinguished translated novels.
Her Excellency emphasized the prominent role played by Ain Shams University in supporting scientific research and encouraging international publishing, as well as grants and scholarship support, she extended her sincere thanks to the university administration, headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, and the deputies, for providing all forms of support and facilities to researchers, international publication rewards, and other forms of support, to achieve excellence.
At the end of the meeting, Her Excellency delivered a speech to the young researchers at the university, where she emphasized the importance of patience and perseverance in scientific research, hard work, benefiting from the experiences of scientists, not rushing to obtain results, and permanent work on innovation to raise and lead the university and strive for distinguished competition at the global level, which in turn leads to improve the international ranking of the university.
