The Council of the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University honors the President and Vice Presidents of the university

The Faculty of Dentistry Council honored Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, where Prof. Muhammad Dia Zain Al-Abidin, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Council, gifted them with shields in appreciation and gratitude for their role in the leadership and management of the university throughout the last period. This came in the presence of the members of the Faculty Council of Vice Deans: Prof. Rami Maher, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Karim Al-Batouti, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ashraf Abu Khalaf, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and the heads of departments and members of the Faculty Council.

In his speech, Prof. Muhammad Dia Zain Al-Abidin appreciated the efforts of the President of the University and the deputies throughout their leadership and management of the university, stressing that belief in what we are working on and striving to implement it to the fullest, were among the most important foundations laid by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini since assuming the presidency of the university, and praised the developments witnessed by the university with its various faculties as well as university hospitals in terms of educational and health services, infrastructure and external appearance.

For his part, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini praised the efforts of the Faculty of Dentistry and its leaders, their responsibility, and their active participation in all stages of development and keeping pace with development plans within the university.

His Excellency also congratulated the Council of the Faculty of Dentistry on the Faculty’s approaching international accreditation.

And congratulated on the achievements that have been made throughout the years of his presidency of the university, and Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini confirmed that what has been achieved stems from his conviction that Ain Shams University deserves every effort from us, pointing out that he was keen not to give in to obstacles and routines and not to prevent the implementation of development plans.

His Excellency praised the efforts of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Muhammad Dia Zain al-Abidin, and those who preceded him in the continuous development of the Faculty of Dentistry, where the curricula were reformulated in line with the 17 sustainable development goals established by the United Nations, as well as the restructuring of postgraduate studies and the stimulation of scientific research and international publishing.

He also warned of the need for the Faculty of Dentistry to continue to be keen on achieving advanced positions in international classifications.

He added that the philosophy of involving everyone, working in a team spirit, and keenness to implement the plans set, while relying on applying the thought of priorities, brought fruitful results that were reflected in the public interest.

The Council of the Faculty of Dentistry honored Prof. Ashraf Abu Khalaf, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, for his Excellency reaching the legal age.
