"A Day of Creativity" Festival of graduation projects for students of the Mass Communication Department at the Faculty of Specific Education

The Department of Media at the Faculty of Specific Education at Ain Shams University organized a festival for the department's students' graduation projects under the title "A Day of Creativity", under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Osama El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. In the presence of the vice deans, faculty members, the assistant staff, and a group of academic and public figures, including the journalist Dr. Samia Abu Al-Nasr, managing editor of Al-Ahram newspaper, journalist and writer Muhammad Al-Kurdi, Mr. Ahmed Al-Aqati, a member of Parliament for the New Valley district, and the distinguished artist Muhammad Al-Tagi, who was a guest on Al-Bidaya newspaper issued by the department.

In his speech, Prof. Osama Al-Sayed thanked the attendees and the students, and encouraged them to continue their success, wishing them to continue their efforts and excel in their practical lives to represent a strong addition to the labor market.

The artist, Muhammad Al-Tagi, also emphasized the importance of the word that comes out of the media, and the need for media graduates to scrutinize and verify each word before publishing, as it represents his responsibility and professional conscience in the field of media.

         
   
         

Prof. Osama Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty and Pro. Ahmed Nabil, Head of the Media Department, honored a group of personalities, including the artist Muhammad Al-Tajgi, for his works throughout his artistic career, the journalist writer Muhammad Al-Kurdi, a group of college employees, and the director of the Quality Unit, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Otifi, where the festival coincides with the college obtaining a certificate of quality education and accreditation.

It is worth noting that the graduates' works varied between theatrical performances, journalistic arts, documentaries, short narrative films, animated films, photographs, as well as radio representations.

On the sidelines of the festival, a photography exhibition entitled "Our Heritage" was held, through which the camera roams around the palaces and old houses to highlight the aesthetic aspects of their sides and to shed light on the ancient Egyptian heritage, including Abdeen Palace, Baron Palace, Prince Muhammad Ali Palace, in addition to the heritage houses such as Beit Yakan, Beit Al-Kritilih, Beit Al-Suhaimi, then you will move on to a tour that includes the Sultan Hassan Mosque and the Qalawun complex.

         
   
         

As well as a group of theatrical performances for students of the third and fourth divisions of the Department of Performing Arts, as well as performances by the artist Khaled Jalal, such as "How do you say I don't know" and "The Incident".

The pantomime show "The Stone" and a short feature film "Voice Note" revolve around the importance of timing in taking care of people close to us so that we do not miss one of them, and another titled

"Psychopathy" revolves around some of the dimensions of the psychopath's personality and behaviors with western eccentrics

In addition to a documentary film entitled "Hobby x Project", which presents the experiences of a number of young people whose hobbies turned into commercial projects, and an animated film entitled "Flame", which revolves around the importance of social harmony and families.
