The President of Ain Shams University witnesses the Faculty of Al-Alsun's celebration of the accreditation of nine of its programs, in the presence of the President's Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs, and Prof. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Education, former Minister of Local Development, and former President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Saleh Hashem, former President of the Association of Arab Universities and former President of Ain Shams University, witnessed the activities of the ceremony for the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University to obtain accreditation for nine of its programs from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.

The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Yomna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Rasha Khafagy, Director of the Quality Assurance Center at the University, Prof. Hind Asaad, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the faculty, and a group of faculty staff, the teaching assistants, students of the faculty, the faculty's strategic supporters and community parties contributing to the development of the club in its various pillars.

During his inaugural speech, Prof. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs and former President of Ain Shams University, with the development witnessed by Ain Shams University under the leadership of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini , stressing that the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University has clear imprints, and that Ain Shams University has ancient capabilities and distinguished human capabilities that have a major role in participating in the development processes in Egypt.

a. Dr.. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of the University, extended his sincere thanks to the Faculty of Al-Alsun and its administration, praising the performance of the Dean of the Faculty, the Vice Deans and all the faculty members and their outstanding work in all educational aspects.

He also praised the faculty's level of scientific research, which comes within the scope of the university's strategic plan and the achievement of sustainable development goals, Egypt's 2030 plan, and the faculty's role in international publishing, as well as its active participation in innovation circles, which has become an important part of the educational process in light of the fourth and fifth generation universities.

His Excellency also praised the developments witnessed by the faculty at the level of infrastructure, informatics, electronic correction, and others.

He also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the former and current vice-presidents of the university for all their efforts, and continued thanks and appreciation to all participants in this achievement, which culminated in the programmatic accreditation of nearly 50% of the faculty's programs.

The President of Ain Shams University also touched on the importance of digital transformation, pointing to the university's infrastructure that helped in light of the Corona pandemic and contributed to supporting the rapid pace to keep up with this challenge.

In his speech, Prof. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Education, former Minister of Local Development and former President of Ain Shams University, expressed his happiness at participating in the culmination of the Faculty of Al-Alsun’s march and reaching the accreditation of nine programs, stressing that it is an ancient faculty with a history that extends from the time of Rifa’a Al-Tahtawy and it was the only Faculty of Al-Alsun in Egypt for years, I was able to present a distinguished graduate who we are proud of in all forums.

Prof. Saleh Hashem, former president of Ain Shams University, on the ancient history of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and the beginnings with a few languages until the number of languages taught at the faculty reached more than fifteen languages.

He added that the facuty over the years provided distinguished graduates to the labor market who were able to reach prominent positions in all sectors of the country.

In his speech, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, said, "I always believe that Egypt is a great country." ancient.

While Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, during her speech, said that the faculty obtained accreditation for nine of its programs from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, thanks to the efforts of the faculty members and the supporting staff, under the auspices and support of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, for his support and achievement throughout his tenure as President of the University.

She indicated that the efforts of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, reflects his vision of the fourth generation universities that meet the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the era of informatics that would link university education with innovation and the requirements of the local and global labor market.

In conclusion, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, honored the attendees and presented shields and souvenirs to the President of the University, his deputies, the coordinators of the accredited programs and the Quality Assurance Center at the university and the faculty, and to the Engineering Consulting Authority at the university and a large number of strategic allies and community parties.
