Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Kenneth Matingo, President of the University of Namibia, signed a memorandum of understanding between the two sides, in the presence of Mr. Wael Lotfy, Ambassador of Egypt to Namibia, and Dr. Prof. Olusola Oyewole, Secretary General of the Association of African Universities.
This came at the end of his expanded visit to Namibia, which included many activities.
This protocol comes within the framework of the university's keenness to encourage direct contact and cooperation between faculty members, departments, institutes and research centers with their counterparts in various African countries in order to promote the development of possible collaborative projects and activities in the fields of academic programs and systems development, teaching, research and technology.
The protocol includes cooperation in related academic and research activities; As well as cooperation in the field of teaching and training, curriculum development, internationalization of academic programs and training, as well as research and innovation projects and joint grant applications.
