Ain Shams University Board honors Dr. Hesham Abdel Salam Omran and the painter Amr Fahmy

In the presence of Prof. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Preventive Affairs, the Ain Shams University Board honored, in its session held on Monday, June 26, 2023, headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Dr. Hesham Abdel Salam Omran, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, for receiving the UNESCO-Al Fozan International Award for Young Scientists Researchers for this year.

The honoring was witnessed by Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and members of the University board.

The board also honored the great cartoonist Amr Fahmy, in appreciation of his cooperation with the university and his drawing of all university presidents in paintings that will be placed in the Saffron Palace after its renovation, and in appreciation of his distinguished artistic contributions in the field of art.
