The Minister of Higher Education inaugurates the activities of the Scientific Conference at the Faculty of Engineering and honors the pioneers of the Faculty among the professors

Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, opened the activities of the scientific conference organized by the Faculty of Engineering, at Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Ayman Farid, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning, Training and Qualification for the Labor Market, Major General Haitham Zaki, Assistant Minister for National Projects, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Advisor to the Minister for Technical and Technological Education, Dr. Muhammad Samir Hamza, Acting Head of the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector at the Ministry, and a group of faculty staff at the Faculty of Engineering.

At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Ayman Ashour expressed his happiness at attending the events of this day, directing all thanks and appreciation to the esteemed professors, the pioneers of the Faculty of Engineering at the university, pointing out that they are the owners of the first credit for the distinction of the Faculty of Engineering, from which generations of new engineers graduated who are the nucleus of the new republic.

The Minister of Higher Education drew attention to the distinction of the graduates of the Faculty of Engineering, at Ain Shams University, pointing out that many graduates of that ancient faculty assumed many important positions, stressing that the esteemed professors of the faculty are the first supporter of all successive generations, adding that the Faculty of Engineering, with their generous sponsorship, will always remain at the forefront.

The minister praised the capabilities of the faculty, which made it an integrated and harmonious educational system, working on the continuous development of the educational process, in cooperation with prestigious international universities, pointing out that this confirms the prominent role played by public universities in the development of university education and scientific research in Egypt.

In his speech, Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini expressed his pride and appreciation for the esteemed professors at the Faculty of Engineering, pointing out that honoring them today is a touch of loyalty from the administration of Ain Shams University and the Faculty of Engineering for all their work that contributed to the advancement and progress of the university and the faculty.

For his part, Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, confirmed that the first pioneers of the faculty presented many constructive values that we follow in its footsteps so far, and teach them to future generations at the faculty, adding that these values are what have maintained the level of the Faculty of Engineering, at Ain Shams University, over many years, to make the faculty at the top of the faculties of engineering In Egypt at the regional and international level, pointing out that the pioneering professors instilled the values of belonging, loyalty, humility, good manners, good treatment and giving in future generations of faculty students.

At the conclusion of the conference activities, the Minister, the President of Ain Shams University, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering presented souvenirs to the faculty's pioneers in its various departments.
