Honoring the President and Vice President of Ain Shams University at the Faculty of Engineering

The Board of the Faculty of Engineering, headed by Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty, in his session held today honored Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, where Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty, presented them with the shield of the Faculty for their efforts and continuous support for the university and the Faculty, in the presence of Prof. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Education and Local Development, Prof. Sherif Hammad, former Minister of Scientific Research, a. Dr.. Abdul Qawi Khalifa, former governor of Cairo, Prof. Muhammad Al-Husseini Al-Toukhi, former Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mahmoud Abu Al-Nasr, former Minister of Education, Prof. Hisham Tamraz, former Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Diaa Khalil, General Supervisor of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Amr Shaat, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Akram Farid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Yasser Mujahid, Director of the Engineering Consultation Center at the Faculty of Engineering, and the heads of departments.

In his speech, Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, says that everyone attests that the university has witnessed a boom in all aspects during the past period, stressing that Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini is a developed thinker who is open outside the box; Pointing to the prominent role of the Engineering Consulting Center during this period and the accompanying development of the university.

As pointed out by Dr. Omar that the cooperation between sectors and the postgraduate studies and research sector during the past, led by Prof. Ayman Saleh, and the harmony between the Faculty of Engineering and the university administration, wishing His Excellency all success in the next stage.

For his part, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini sincerely thanks and appreciation to the Board of the prestigious Faculty of Engineering, whose achievements we are proud of throughout Egypt, praising the ability of university professors to lead the development process, pointing out that in every step to develop the university and its hospitals, there was an important role for the Faculty of Engineering.

As Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, expressed his happiness at being in the Faculty of Engineering and its scientific leadership, pointing out that the university has progressed a lot thanks to the Faculty of Engineering, pointing to his tenure as Executive Director of the university hospitals and his great cooperation with the professors of the Faculty of Engineering.

Prof. Amr Shaat, Vice dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research, pointed out the efforts made in the field of international publishing to motivate researchers, which led to a rise in international publishing rates, as well as the issuance of the international publication regulations and the university’s appreciation and encouragement awards, as well as the equipment and laboratories guide for the entire university, which helps all students and researchers in Egyptian universities to benefit from these equipment and laboratories In addition to celebrating the International Arabic Language Day.
