A cooperation protocol between Ain Shams University and Banque Misr to develop ward 10 in the combined care at El Demerdash Hospital, at a value of 110 million pounds.

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Mr. Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Misr, signed a cooperation protocol to donate about 110 million pounds for the development of Ward 10 in the combined care at El-Demerdash Hospital.

The capacity of the care ward reaches 31 beds, and this development comes within the project of Ain Shams University Medical City, in the presence of Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Tariq Youssef, Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals, Prof. Essam Fakhry, Professor of Surgery and Director of El-Demerdash Hospital, Dr. Fatima El-Goly, Head of Corporate Communications at Banque Misr.

         
   
         

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, praised the continuous support of Banque Misr to Ain Shams University hospitals and the university's medical sector in general, which made a real breakthrough in providing health care to those who deserve it, stressing that university hospitals are the actual educational basis for medical generations.

For his part, Mr. Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Misr, praised the great role played by Ain Shams University Hospitals in order to provide health services to all Egyptians.

This signing comes within the framework of the bank's keenness to contribute to raising the level of medical and therapeutic service provided in the combined care ward at Al-Demerdash Hospital – at Ain Shams University Hospitals.

It is worth noting that Ain Shams University Hospitals are among the largest hospitals that serve millions of patients annually in various medical specialties in Egypt and the Middle East, and include the best competencies of doctors, nurses, and administrators, and Ain Shams University Hospitals support the state’s plans to provide the best health care for the Egyptian citizen, in addition, to create the best health, educational and research standards in order to provide the best medical service to the Egyptian citizen.
