Proceeding from the importance of acquiring job skills that distinguish graduates as well as all workers, and that guarantee competitive job opportunities, promotion, and excellence at work, the Office of Communication and International Cooperation with the Community Services Unit at the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University, organized a training workshop entitled "Brilliance in the Labor Market" under the auspices of Prof. Safaa Shehata, Acting Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Abdel Nasser Rashad, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Alaa El Din Abdel Halim, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, under the supervision of Prof. Hanan Helmy Latif, Director of the Office of Communication and International Cooperation, and Dr. Suhaib Tolbah, Director of the Community Services Unit, the training was conducted by Dr. Hani Shaker, Director of the Digital Library at Ain Shams University, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, through the Microsoft Teams application, in the presence of a large number of faculty staff and students from many universities, as well as international students from different countries.
The workshop included distinguished training in the arts of CV writing, and His Excellency stressed the need for the CV to contain personal skills, which is one of the most important elements, given its importance in demonstrating the capabilities and competencies that the applicant possesses, which guarantee him success in the job. These skills include working skills on specialized software such as design programs, data processing, etc., as well as foreign language skills.
In the second part of the training workshop, he discussed how to use the technological skills of artificial intelligence in designing and preparing a resume, and emphasized that artificial intelligence tools offer advanced features and customization options to create a distinguished resume that meets specific job requirements and overcomes current challenges.
He explained that there are many CV creation tools and CV generators supported by artificial intelligence, which can help everyone create a distinguished CV that highlights diverse skills and experiences, and His Excellency also addressed some specialized programs that provide CV templates to be presented professionally and distinctly, everyone praised the training workshop and the extent of the benefit achieved and the outstanding training throughout the workshop period and the answer to all inquiries. Everyone gave thanks and appreciation to Dr. Hani Shaker for his efforts in simplifying information and distinguished handling supported by technology. Thanks and appreciation were also given to the Office of Communication and International Cooperation as well as the Community Services Unit.
The audience recommended the need to continue this type of training course that is in line with the urgent need to keep pace with the spirit of the age that is concerned with technology and its applications in various fields and is in line with the requirements of Egypt's Vision 2030 in the need for skills and qualification for digital jobs, leading to digital creativity.
