The Faculty of Engineering celebrates the Staff Day

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Salih, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Mohamed Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Engineering, held a celebration for the staff of the college as one of the main complementary elements in achieving the achievements in the college’s march, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Akram Farouk Mohamed Abd. Al-Latif, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development (Celebration Rapporteur), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Munib Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, opened the activities and His Excellency spoke to the attendees of the college staff, directing the word to motivate them during the coming period and thanking all Ain Shams University employees in general for their role in the achievements of Ain Shams University.

Prof. Omar Muhammad Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty, gave a speech to all the college staff and their great role in the college’s march, in conjunction with the college’s obtaining the second place in the Government Excellence Award.

The activities started by standing a minute of mourning and reciting Al-Fatihah on the souls of the administrative colleagues who passed away during the last period, and inviting relatives or representatives of our deceased colleagues to receive certificates of appreciation.

Administrators, technicians and retired workers were honored for reaching the legal age during the past three years, according to the administrative structure within the main sectors.

Then the word was passed on to Prof. Akram Farouk Muhammad Abdel Latif, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, to announce the results of the distinguished departments’ evaluation competition for the year 2023, and to hand over prizes to the winning departments.
