The Council of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at Ain Shams University honored in its session held on Sunday, May 28, each Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, where Prof. Noha Dunya presented them with the shield of the faculty for their efforts and continuous support for the faculty, in the presence of the faculty vice-presidents and heads of departments.
During the meeting of the Faculty Council, topics related to the work of the general administration of the Faculty were discussed, and the topics included in the agenda were presented. The session included preparing the new regulations for the Faculty and integrating the One Global Health Program into the programs of the new regulations after approval by the Supreme Council of Universities, to be applied next year.
The Council also agreed on the marketing plan for these programs, as they constitute the modern trends of the state and the requirements of the Ministry of Environment to prepare the required cadres in accordance with Egypt's vision for 2030 and achieve the goals of sustainable development, including, for example, but not limited to (Master's and Ph.D. programs in new energy, Master's degree in Integrated Water Resources Management with the University of Cologne in Germany, a master's degree to prepare an environmental consultant, a master's degree in recycling), and a plan to develop the various sectors of the faculty was discussed.
