Prof. Abdel-Fattah Mohamed Fathi Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, received the journalist, Dr. Mahmoud Musallam, Chairman of the Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, and Media Committee in the Senate, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Al-Watan” newspaper, and Chairman of the DMC Channels Network, journalist Akram Al-Qassas, Chairman of the Board and Editor-in-Chief the “Al-Youm7” newspaper, and the journalist Dr. Muhammad Al-Baz, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Dustour Newspaper and presenter of “Akher Al-Nahar” program on Al-Nahar TV, in the presence of Prof. Heba Shaheen, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Media, at Ain Shams University.
The interview came as part of the activities of media professionals arbitrating the graduation projects of fourth-year students, in the Journalism Division, Department of Communication and Media Sciences, at the Faculty of Arts.
Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud affirmed that Ain Shams University is keen to benefit from the experiences of prominent media figures in various fields of media work, in the framework of the constant endeavor to link academic studies and the reality of practical practice in the media field.
His Excellency thanked and appreciated the media professionals for their permanent support and rich experience that contribute to providing students with professional skills suitable for the labor market.
Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud confirmed the Ain Shams University's keenness to communicate with various prominent media institutions that are professional, which contribute to a vital role in building society, raising awareness, providing information to the public, and shaping the attitudes of Egyptian public opinion toward various issues.
