The Meeting of the delegation of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, met a delegation of experts from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and International Academic Cooperation Sector at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Mona Abdel-Aal Al-Zahri, Executive Director of the Education Development Department, at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of International Students and Mobility Office at Ain Shams University, Prof. Muhammad Al-Buhairi, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, Executive Director of the Alumni Association, Dr. Rasha Khafagy, Director of the Quality Assurance Center at Ain Shams University, Dr. Dalia Youssef, Director of the Central Unit for E-Learning, and Dr. Sally Kamal, Director of the Central Unit for the Development of Learning Curricula and Methods, Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, Director of the International Classification Office, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of ASU Career Center, Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Executive Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and a group of representatives of the faculties of Ain Shams University.

From the coordination team of the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Nancy Naguib and Dr. Noha Fouad, Coordinator of the Country Program Follow-up Unit, Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, attended.

From the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, Ms. Andrea Hoover, Ms. Abby Raad Lynn, and Ms. Neri Sioufan attended.

Prof. Abdul Fattah Saoud welcomed the honorable presence, and His Excellency confirmed the interest of His Excellency Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who visited the delegation, in order to reviewing higher education policies in Egypt with the aim of developing them through the organization's comprehensive review of the education system and policies and submitting a report on its recommendations to enhance and link education curricula with the requirements of the labor market.

Emphasizing his happiness at the delegation's visit to the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center I Hub to find out about the latest developments and developments in the work of Ain Shams University, hoping that the delegation's visit to the Egyptian university and universities will be a successful visit.

The meeting came in line with the vision of Egypt 2030 and the vision of Ain Shams University, its mission, and priorities related to the needs of the labor market and the requirements of future jobs, including sustainable development, and to meet the urgent and real need of the Egyptian society, which has a clear positive impact in the scientific context, as well as the procedures used to design study programs and update curricula.

The meeting, which came in the form of a number of sessions, discussed how the university monitors the labor markets, the required skills and the results of graduates, and the possibility of having plans to expand and deepen these efforts and the possibility of continuing or changing them.

As well as identifying the main factors that shape the study decisions of the Egyptian student and how the labor market is taken into account in those decisions and the ability to guide students and support them in their professional decisions and develop plans to expand and deepen these efforts and continue them.

Also, Prof. Mona Abdel Aal reviewed a brief overview of Ain Shams University and its international ranking at the level of universities, faculties, new existing centers, and innovative and innovative methods of teaching and learning.

In addition to the undergraduate and postgraduate programs and its most prominent international partnerships, the targeted inter-programs of Ain Shams University, and the policies and procedures established to create programs compatible with the current and future labor market.

And Dr. Sherawat Al-Ahmadi reviewed the international classification of Ain Shams University, the university's study opportunities for international students around the world, the elements of attracting international students to the university, and the services provided to them in addition to student exchange and faculty mobility opportunities that are offered to students and researchers at the university, and the introduction of prominent graduates of Ain Shams University at the national level International, quality management system and international accreditation at Ain Shams University.

The visit included a number of sessions with elite members of the faculty and students about the programs of the various faculties of the university and the mechanisms for developing the existing programs as well as the training programs that the students receive, in the presence of Prof. Hala Sweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Rehab Othman, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Education and Student Affairs, and a group of professors and vice deans.

One of the sessions included a review of the most prominent research innovations of students, the training programs that students receive, and the programs of the ASU Career Center at the university, to see the most prominent skills development programs offered by the Center for Skills Development and Employment to qualify the final teams for the target labor market and to review our most prominent partners in the labor market.

An overview of the training programs offered by the Training and Development Center for the development of academic performance was also presented, and a model of a Beni program in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship was presented.

The sessions also included a meeting and discussion with undergraduate and postgraduate students, and representatives of the medical, scientific, and engineering sector faculties programs.

At the end of the visit, a video of the laboratories and halls of the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering was shown.
