The President of Ain Shams University accompanies the Chinese Ambassador on a tour of the Zafaran Museum

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, accompanied His Excellency the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Cairo, Ambassador Liao Liqiang and his accompanying delegation, on a tour of the Saffron Museum, which is located on the main campus of the university.

This came during the visit of the delegation of Jiangsu University Hospital in the People's Republic of China to Ain Shams University, headed by Ms. Dr. Liu Yun, Director of Jiangsu Hospital, and the membership of each of Dr. Pan Yinping, Deputy Director of Medical Affairs, Jiangsu Hospital, and Dr. Wang Xiuqin, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Dr. Xu Zakuan, Director and Chief Physician of the Department of General Surgery, and Dr. Li Xiangchun, Deputy Director of the Liver Center and Dr. Liu Lee, director of the Department of Endoscopy and Gastroenterology.

During the tour, the Chinese ambassador and his accompanying delegation listened to a detailed explanation of all the artifacts displayed in the museum, which was established for educational purposes and opened a few days ago.

Visitors from the People's Republic of China expressed their admiration for the museum, which reflects an aspect of the ancient Egyptian civilization and includes artifacts that embody more than one historical period of Egypt's modern and contemporary history.
