The activities of the workshops of the second scientific conference of anti-violence units at Ain Shams University

Within the activities of the 11th Annual Ain Shams University International Conference of Ain Shams University under the title "Knowledge Economy... For Better Life", and under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Student Service Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Hind Al-Hilali, Executive Director of the Women's Support and Anti-Violence Unit, Ain Shams University.

         
   
         

On the sidelines of the second practical conference of the Women’s Support and Anti-Violence Unit, two workshops were held:

         
   
         

The first workshop entitled (Management of Stress to Face Domestic Violence): It included the concept of family violence, the types of stress and symptoms resulting from it, how to manage stress in general and the pressures resulting from domestic violence in particular, and how to deal with problems and crises through scientific and practical methods to face pressure and take care of oneself.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Amani Abdel-Aal, a clinical psychologist and training consultant at the Women's Support and Anti-Violence Unit at Ain Shams University.

The second workshop entitled (Emotional Intelligence): It included defining emotional intelligence, how to manage emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, how to communicate effectively, empathize with others, and overcome challenges and conflicts. It also included how to build stronger relationships, succeed in study and work, and how to develop emotional intelligence. To achieve professional and personal goals.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Omnia Ali, a life skills and entrepreneurship training consultant for civil society organizations.
