A delegation from the Kuwaiti Accreditation Authority visits the Faculty of Dentistry

Prof. Mohamed Diaa, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, received a high-ranking delegation from the Kuwaiti Accreditation Authority, to discuss ways of joint cooperation and to check on the conditions of Kuwaiti students studying at the college.

         
   
         

During the meeting, Prof. Muhammad Diaa reviewed the history of the faculty and that it has been keen since its inception to select its students accurately to graduate a distinguished student who copes with the external labor market.

         
   
         

He added that the faculty is keen to develop many educational programs to keep pace with the best international systems and to work to overcome all obstacles in front of foreign students in order to facilitate their learning.

         
     
         

During the visit, Mr. Karim Al-Batouti, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, accompanied the Kuwaiti delegation on an inspection tour of the various centers and halls of the college and clinics.

         
     
         

On the sidelines of the visit, the head of the Kuwaiti delegation met with the Kuwaiti students at the college to check on their conditions. The head of the Kuwaiti delegation praised the education systems used in the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University.

He also stressed that there are no problems among Kuwaiti students studying at Ain Shams University in general and dentistry in particular, praising the provision of many channels of communication with the university and the college to overcome any obstacles that students may face.

The cultural attaché of the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo, Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdullah Al-Rajaan, stressed the importance of quality education and the development of students' skills, and praised the level of Ain Shams students.

It is noteworthy that during the meeting, a documentary film was shown about the College of Dentistry, the history of its establishment, and the developments that took place in it, including operating rooms, a CT scan center, a laser treatment center, a digital filling center, a digital dental implant center, a stem cell laboratory, an accurate measurements laboratory, student activity centers, and various college halls.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Karim Al-Batouti, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Neven Hassan, Professor of Oral Medicine and Periodontology and Director of the Measurement and Calendar Unit, Dr. Reem Hussein Muhammad, Director of the Expatriate Unit at the College, Dr. Zainab Muhammad Diaa El-Din Suleiman, Director of the Excellence Unit, Dr. Heba Shawky, Director of the E-Learning Unit, and Dr. Nancy Essam Al-Mudarris Department of Prosthetics, Head of the Academic Advising Unit, Dr. Dina Mohamed Abdel-Khalek, Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Biology and Academic Coordinator for the Undergraduate Level System, and Dr. Basma Gamal Salah El-Din, Pediatric Dentistry Teacher and Academic Coordinator for the Credit Hours System

Among the Kuwaiti delegation were Dr. Fuad Al-Ali, head of the delegation and member of the Board of Directors of the National Authority for Academic Accreditation at the Ministry of Higher Education in the State of Kuwait, Dr. Rashid Al-Azmi, Dean of the College of Dentistry at Kuwait University, Dr. Nofah Al-Shammari, Director of the Technical Department at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdullah Al-Rajaan, Cultural Attaché of the State of Kuwait in the Republic of Kuwait.
