The Francophone University Agency in the Middle East thanks the university and the Faculty for hosting the workshop on legal clinics

Mr. Jean-Noel Ballio, Director of the Francophone University Agency in the Middle East, addressed a letter in which he thanked Ain Shams University for hosting the workshop that brought together more than twenty Arab universities from Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq on the subject of legal clinics and their role in the development of legal education during the period From May 2 to 4, 2023.

The Director of the Francophone University Agency expressed his gratitude to Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, for the generous hospitality and continuous support for the activities in which the university participates with the Francophone University Agency.

Mr. Palio also thanked the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Muhammad Safi, and the Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, for the efforts made by the faculty administration and its members, and the good organization that helped all participants, deans and representatives of Arab law faculties, to work fruitfully throughout the days of the workshop.

It Is worth noting that the participation of the University’s Faculty of Law in the Francophone University Agency project aimed at establishing a network of Arab legal clinics in partnership with legal clinics operating in French universities comes in light of the faculty’s interest in developing its study programs to allow for linking between theoretical study and practical application, thus raising the level of educational service provided to students.
