The Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University obtains international accreditation for the first time with a four-star rating

In an important and distinguished step for the Training and Development Center, at Ain Shams University, and within the framework of strengthening the university's institutional thought to achieve sustainable development, Egypt's vision 2030, and the trend towards comprehensive quality, and within the framework of supporting the university leaders headed by Prof. Mahmoud Eel-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for University Affairs Graduate Studies, Prof. Nevin Assem, Director of the Center, The Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University succeeded on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in obtaining international accreditation for the second time from the International Board of Certified Trainers (IBCT) with a distinguished international classification of four stars, in the presence of Eric Boshausen, Executive Director of the International Board of Certified Trainers Branch in Rotterdam, at Netherlands, Prof. Ahmed Metwally, Executive Director for the Middle East, and Prof. Nermin Attia, the international reviewer, via Zoom technology, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and the faculty staff.

The center achieved this success for the first time due to the continuous support of unique university leaders in the academic and administrative work, and as a culmination of the continuous effort, dedication and cooperation of the hardworking team of the center that lasted four years, under full supervision and careful follow-up of all the steps of preparing the center for accreditation from Prof. Nevin Assem, the director of the center and all the Messrs working in the center, and they are:

Mr. Mohamed Gamal Atwa, Secretary of the Center and the distinguished work team (Asmaa Hamad - Mustafa Al-Hajjar - May Sayed - Esraa Aliwa - Caroline Samuel - Walid Abdel Hamid - Nevin Abdel Sattar - Safa Shawky - Ahmed Suleiman).

And from the teaching assistants : (Hajar Waheed - Muhammad Adel).

Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Innovation Center, Prof. Hussein Farid, Professor at Faculty of Engineering and one of the designers of the Innovation Building, who presented a presentation of the building's designs, participated in the qualification round for accreditation .

This came in the distinguished presence of a number of trainers at the center, faculty staff, teaching assistants and university administrators.

As part of the center's pursuit of continuous development, it is scheduled to apply for international accreditation with a five-star rating in January 2024.

In this regard, the family of the Training and Development Center, headed by Prof. Neven Assem, Director of the Center, expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the team working on implementing the Training Management System (TMS), led by Prof. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences and Prof. Tamer Mostafa, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, who contributed to the international accreditation of the Center for the second time.
This system is a comprehensive system for managing the training process and includes a database, an electronic payment gateway and the website. The Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University is the first training center in Egypt to manage all transactions of the training process electronically, in order to achieve the vision of the university and Egypt's vision 2030 for digital transformation. The intellectual property rights and financial exploitation of Ain Shams University were registered in August 2021.
