Your Culture... Our Responsibility "A Charity Book Fair" at the Faculty of Girls

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Girls, in the new Pergola organized a charity book fair in cooperation with the Department of French and the Department of Psychology, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metieini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Amira Ahmed Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Heba Adel Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

During the exhibition, a group of cultural books and novels were displayed and sold at a very symbolic price, with the proceeds going to pay the expenses for the students who are unable. Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, stressed the importance of the book in raising and enhancing the level of knowledge awareness so that reading is available to all segments of society, in order to achieve the main goal, which is to make available the opportunity for everyone to acquire books and develop their reading habit.

Dr. Heba indicated that the exhibition is an important opportunity to give the book a greater value, as the book is used several times by involving the community in helping the needy, and assisting female students in purchasing books. It also comes as an incentive to spread the culture of donation and reading.

The exhibition comes within the framework of the faculty's interest in creating a reading and reading-loving society and spreading the culture of solidarity in the university community, and based on the social responsibility that the faculty adopts among its students.

Many students have come to buy and benefit from the exhibition and expressed their happiness.
