King Salman International Academy Award for the Arabic Language 2023
The King Salman International Academy for the Arabic Language Award represents one of the basic initiatives launched by the Academy to serve the Arabic language, enhance its presence, and honor those who are distinguished in it. The award includes individuals, public and private institutions, and includes four branches:
1- Teaching and learning the Arabic language
2- Computerizing the Arabic language and serving it with modern technologies
3- Arabic language research and scientific studies
4- Spreading linguistic awareness and creating linguistic community initiatives
In addition to honoring the distinguished in the service of the Arabic language and appreciating their efforts, the award aims to draw attention to the great role played by those in preserving linguistic identity, consolidating Arab culture, deepening loyalty, and improving communication between members of the Arab community. It also aims to intensify competition in the targeted areas, increase interest and take care of them, and appreciate the specializations related to them; To ensure a prosperous future for the Arabic language, and confirm its primacy among languages.
The award categories are divided into:
Individuals who served the Arabic language and its branches
Public and private institutions
