Fulbright Egypt highlights on its page the holding of a number of meetings with the leaders of Ain Shams University.

The Fulbright organization was honored to hold a number of meetings with the leaders of Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, His Excellency the President of the University, and in the presence of Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President of Ain Shams University, to discuss opportunities available to professors and graduate students through Fulbright scholarships.

The board team headed by Dr. Maguy Nassif, Executive Director, discussed the program of hosting American experts at Ain Shams University with Prof. Diaa Abdel Majeed, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Mohamed Raja, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Prof. Muhammad Abdel Montaser Abu Zaid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Amr Shaat, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and International Cooperation Sector.

The Organization held a symposium within the framework of the Fulbright Egypt Inclusion Initiative to present the support provided by the Organization to persons with disabilities at the university. It was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Emara, Advisor to the Organization for Integration Affairs, is a graduate of the Fulbright Post-Doctoral Research Program. The symposium was attended by a group of students, faculty staff, and administrative leaders at the university.

The seminar was coordinated by Prof. Rana Al-Hilali, Director of the Center for Students with Disabilities at the University, and Prof. Ahmed Ibrahim, deputy director of the center, which was established with a grant from USAID and under the supervision of AMIDEAST.

The Organization interviewed Prof. Salwa Rashed, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, discussing programs offered to students and professors in the field of English.

And Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean of the Faculty, explained the capabilities of the language laboratories to the Fulbright team, which included Mr. Aser Hani, assistant program manager, and Ms. May Ayad, Senior Program Officer, and Ms. Sarah Galal Program Officer and Ms. Batool Khaled Assistant Program Officer.
