Within the framework of the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University's keenness to deepen the French language, to cooperate with the Francophone Agency and to cooperate with French-speaking countries and to develop a program to study medicine in French, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, met the French speakers in the Faculty of Medicine, via the Internet.

This came under the auspices of Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and in the presence of Prof. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Hebat Allah Saeed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector.

This is to discuss how to study medicine in French and pay attention to the fine specialized details in medicine, as France is a pioneer in medicine in the world and there are convictions and experience that need the presence of all experiences through the application of a French program in cooperation with professors and doctors graduates of Ain Shams University attached to French universities, rejoicing his sovereignty with the first steps and approvals in principle, which requires a long time, hard, persistent and organized work, and working to face many challenges, hoping to help the French authorities, including professors and doctors of the Faculty of Medicine, to achieve the French program.

In his speech, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar stressed the need to benefit from the exchange and transfer of experiences with others in the presence of honest competition.

Prof. Ali Al-Anwar stressed the importance of discussing the establishment of a French program at the Faculty of Medicine, coordinated by a French university, in accordance with French laws and regulations.

Prof, Shahira Samir expressed her enthusiasm for the idea, as a French university was contacted via the Internet via the Zoom program to present a model for the French medicine program, which is a French program with a French identity and not books translated into French to benefit from the French curriculum itself.

The idea of the program is due to the presence of a large number of students, graduates of French schools, completing their studies in France, and we aim to qualify Egyptian and non-Egyptian students for the practice exam in France, while presenting the problems that the program may encounter.

It is worth noting that there is only one French medicine program in Egypt at the University of Alexandria.

A group of doctors and professors at the Faculty of Medicine attended the discussion to discuss the challenges, set expectations and perceptions of the program, and ask questions in a fruitful dialogue to study the different points of view on the idea of the program and take them into account in order to reach the best results.
