Ain Shams University announces the eighth session which qualifies to run for the positions of university presidents and deans of faculties and institutes

Ain Shams University announced that the eighth round of qualifying for candidacy for the positions of university presidents and deans of faculties and institutes will be held from 4 to 6 April 2023, for those who wish to run for the position of dean of a faculty / institute, as one of the job requirements is a dean of a faculty / institute at the university, it is to attend those courses that qualify for that job, which are announced during this year.

Ain Shams University stated that this comes within the framework of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s decision No. 1396 issued on 4/21/2022 regarding the re-formation of committees concerned with nominating university presidents and deans of faculties and institutes, organizing their work, procedures and conditions for candidacy, and differentiation criteria, and based on the fifth paragraph of Article Four from the decision shown above, which states: The candidate “attends” the training course that is held in one of the bodies specified by the Supreme Council of Universities. Ain Shams University stated that it is preparing courses for nomination for these positions at the University's Training and Development Center to qualify for the job.

The university invited faculty staff wishing to run for these positions to apply for these courses to bring a recent case statement signed and stamped by the university and a copy of the national ID card, and to submit it to the training and development center at the university to take the necessary action.
