Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, honored, on Tuesday, March 21, Prof. Mona Abdel-Aal Al-Zahri, Director of the Education Development Department, and the department’s work team, on the occasion of winning second place in the third session of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence in the ”Creativity Award” and Institutional Innovation” on the initiative to develop and digitize the education system at Ain Shams University.
During the honoring, the Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs praised what the administration had achieved during 4 years of hard work based on knowledge, mastery and team spirit, which was reflected in the efficiency of the educational process at the university.
For her part, Prof. Mona Abdel-Al-Zahri expressed her happiness and her work team with this honor, thanking the university leaders headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ali University, for providing all means of support to the administration to carry out its role in the fullest manner.
The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development had announced the names of the winners of the awards of the third round of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, in a ceremony organized by the ministry, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in the presence and honor of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Her Excellency Maryam Al-Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers in the UAE, with the participation of a number of ministers, governors, ambassadors, a number of parliamentarians, and representatives of the sisterly Arab Emirates. In the “Creativity and Institutional Innovation” award, it is stipulated that the innovative initiative has already been applied and achieved results and a positive impact that contributed to solving existing challenges or problems or improving the operations or services of the government agency, while providing supporting evidence to verify them during the evaluation process. The Department of Education Development at Ain Shams University was able to achieve outstanding results in the grand total at the level of all evaluation criteria, which qualified it to obtain the second place in that category
