Ain Shams University in the Thunderbolt Units, the den of heroes and men of difficult tasks

Ain Shams University students visited the leadership of the Egyptian Thunderbolt Units, within the framework of the directives of the political leadership, to educate Egyptian university students about the role played by state institutions in various fields, in order to see the heroic role played by the valiant armed forces with their various weapons, in a way that develops their spirit of loyalty and belonging and provides them with an example of redemption and sacrifice for the sake of the elevation of the homeland.

Where Ain Shams University organized, in cooperation with the Popular Defense Forces, led by Major General Walid Hamed Al Hamaki, Commander of the Popular Defense Forces, and under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, in the presence and supervision of Prof. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Colonel. Staff Officer. Ahmed Fahmy, Director of the Military Education Department at the university, a visit to the command of the Egyptian Thunderbolt Units.

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud confirmed that these visits come within the framework of promoting the values of belonging, praising the role of the General Command of the Armed Forces and its constant and continuous follow-up of all actions and activities carried out by the Thunderbolt Forces, stressing that the men of the Thunderbolt Forces are always at the highest levels of vigilance and readiness, ready to sacrifice the precious and valuable to protect the homeland and preserve its sanctities.

The visit began with the delegation being welcomed by the Thunderbolt Forces, and the stages of establishing, developing the Thunderbolt Forces, the combat missions in which the Thunderbolt Forces participated in previous wars, and the tasks assigned to them in securing public and private property during the revolutions of January 25 and June 30 were explained by showing a documentary film, and then watching a group from live performances of some combat exercises for the forces.

Ain Shams University students participated in a long tour within the command of the Thunderbolt Forces, during which they met dozens of heroes of these units, as they are a true example of sacrifice, redemption, and defense of the homeland, in addition, they took part in some military trainings with the Thunderbolt Forces.

During the tour, the delegation witnessed a number of training areas, which show the skills of the Thunderbolt personnel, followed by witnessing the implementation of a number of operations that showed the extent of the Thunderbolt men's combat capabilities and field skills of a professional nature during the implementation of tasks.

For their part, the delegation of Ain Shams University students expressed their great happiness for their participation in this tour within the command of the Thunderbolt Forces, and their pride in seeing the heroes of these units, dialoguing with them, and introducing them to the capabilities and means of training, and the stages of qualification to reach the fighter to a high degree of professionalism in carrying out tasks.
