Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development opened a symposium (Your health is your beauty), which is held within the university's celebration of the Egyptian Women's Day and the Ideal Mother, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. It is organized by the Student Family for Central Egypt.

The seminar hosted by Prof. Hisham El-Ghazaly, Professor of Oncology and Director of the Research Center at the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Hala Sweed, Professor of Geriatric Medicine and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Soha El Mekkawy, Professor of Plastic Surgery, Rehabilitation, Burns, Maxillofacial Surgery, at Ain Shams University, Member of the International Society of Complementary Surgeons, and Prof. Reem Hashem, Professor of Psychiatry, at Ain Shams University, Member of the Royal Faculty of Psychiatry, England, and Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, Professor of Anesthesia and Care, Chairman of the Scientific Council for Clinical Nutrition, at the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University, and the coordination and attendance of Prof. Jihan Rajab, Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and coordination of Prof. Hatem Rabih, a general leader of the Students for Central Egypt family at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Hind Al-Hilali, Director of the Women's Support and Anti-Violence Unit, Prof. Sherawat Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Expatriate Department at the University, and Prof. Dina Farouk Abu Zaid, Director of the Media Center of Ain Shams University, and Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center for Development Affairs at Ain Shams University

         
   
         

In her inaugural speech, Prof. Ghada Farouk that every Egyptian mother is an ideal mother and that every woman in Egyptian society is a strong woman who bears many burdens and responsibilities in her home, in addition to the leading woman at work who bears a responsibility at work just like a man.

She pointed out the importance of educating women by preparing virtual lectures to support women, which will be uploaded to the university platform.

Prof. Hisham Al-Ghazali simplified the idea of ​​the emergence of a tumor inside the body, which is a defect in cell divisions within the body, pointing to avoidable causes that reduce the chance of developing cancer, the most important of which are smoking, obesity, and infection with some viruses, especially the C virus.

He talked about some symptoms of breast cancer, appreciating the efforts of the presidential initiatives to preserve women's health, as 33 million Egyptian women were educated in the initiative's first phase. He confirmed the high rates of cure in Egypt from breast cancer due to the interest in early detection.

Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti spoke about women's healthy nutrition, which results in the general health of women at different stages of their lives.

   
   

She emphasized the importance of paying attention during puberty to nutrition rich in iron and vitamin C, and paying attention to protein and plant-based leafy foods, stressing the great interest in nutrition during pregnancy and childbirth, which is greatly reflected in the health of the fetus, especially calcium and iron, in addition to the importance of avoiding processed foods, whether processed meat and sugar or food containing preservatives

As for the stage of menopause, it is very important to pay attention to foods that contain soybeans, sunflower oil, and sesame seeds to increase the estrogen hormone, in addition to interest in sports and drinking water.

Prof. Sherwit Al-Ahmadi summarized in important points for maintaining human health in general, which is maintaining constant portions of protein, unsaturated fats, carbohydrates, fiber and water.

Prof. Hala Sweed stressed the need to pay attention to all health problems that women may suffer from since childhood, such as arthritis or toothache, and the importance of having a daily social and sports routine outside the framework of work and family responsibilities, which has a great impact on women's psyche, which greatly affects their health, especially after advancing age.

Prof. Reem Hashem spoke about women's mental health, pointing out that women's rates of depression are 3:4 times higher than men's, due to the estrogen hormone that increases sensitivity, and she also referred to the rates of violence against women.

In addition to the woman bearing many burdens inside and outside the family if she is a working woman, she dealt with some of the psychological problems that women go through during pregnancy and childbirth, stressing the need to practice sports and entertainment, and pay attention to identities and preserve the general health of women in a way that reduces the chances of depression.

Prof. Soha Makkawi, spoke about the most important factors affecting the appearance of age factors on a woman's skin, warning against exposure to the sun without using sunscreen creams, and warning not to be drawn into plastic surgery without a medical or psychological reason that necessitates that, stressing that facial health begins from the inside and that a healthy lifestyle Reflects on the freshness of the skin and delays the appearance of signs of age.

Prof. Jihan Ragab spoke about some of the women's cases and experiences that she encounters by virtue of her membership in the National Council for Women, Cairo branch, and the manifestations of violence that some women are exposed to.
