He is currently lecturing in the Japanese language department at the faculty as part of a short scientific program with the support of the Japan Foundation - Cairo Office.

Dr. Al-Moumen gave a quick overview of his personal experience in Japan, which began with his intense passion for the Japanese language and culture, which led him to travel to Japan 28 years ago, where he was able to obtain a bachelor's, master's, and doctorate in Japanese language and literature, and worked in many agencies in the fields of translation and education, where translated for many great personalities, headed by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Emperor and Empress of Japan and other Arab and Japanese presidents, kings and senior officials.

During the lecture, Dr. Al-Moamen emphasized the importance of the field of human studies and languages in serving society and international relations, and the great role played by the translator in influencing the cultures and societies he deals with. Then, spoke at length about the nature of the Japanese personality, stressing that what distinguishes it is attention to details and procedures more than attention to results. And that “longness of mind” and not rushing to results is what represents the added value of the Japanese personality who builds her dealings and thinking on the basis of the nature of the relationship with the other, which ultimately achieves harmony among all members of society.

And he added that Japanese society was not perfect in the past, and that the Japanese society's arrival to the current picture came in stages and directions that were implemented firmly and meticulously until it reached what it is now.

At the end of the lecture, Dr. Al-Moumen gave a number of advice to the students not to rush the results and to be patient in their educational and practical journey after graduation so that they can reach their goals by being keen on continuous self-development, and the necessity of acquiring various skills and not only acquiring the language, as well as not closing in on oneself or on a narrow circle of friends only, or on communication and search sites, and only.

Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahman Ashiba, a teacher at the Japanese Language Department, coordinated and managed the lecture. He introduced the lecture and moderated the discussion session, which dealt with many questions and their answers.
