A successful evacuation experiment at the Faculty of Archeology

The Faculty of Archeology, at Ain Shams University, succeeded in executing an experiment to evacuate the faculty building within a period of no more than a minute and a half after the emergency sirens were sounded, under the auspices of Prof. Hossam Tantawy, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Prof. Ahmed Al-Shawki, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Supervisor for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, and Dr. Rabab Jeddah, Director of the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit, in the presence of Brigadier General Adham Muhammad Najm, Director of the Civil Defense Department at the University.

The faculty administration team provided all support and active participation in cooperation with the faculty's civil defense and security to make the experiment a success.
