The evaluation of the projects of students qualified to participate in the Ain Shams Innovates 2023 competition from the Faculty of Arts

On Thursday, March 9, 2023, the judging committee for projects submitted by students of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University met to select the three winning and qualified teams for the "Ain Shams Innovates 2023" competition, which is organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the university, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the College, and supervision of Prof. Sherin Mazloum, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, in the presence of Prof. Muhammad Al-Buhairi, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Islam Adly, responsible for student activities at the center, and coordinating by Dr. Hazem Farrag, a lecturer at the Department of Tourist Guidance and coordinator of innovation and entrepreneurship activity at the college, and his deputy, Dr. Ahmed Magdy.

Dr. Hazem Farrag said that the competition was between 9 student projects "Innovations" to win the first three places, and three distinct projects were chosen and their arrangement was as follows:

Indoor and outdoor navigation

Implemented by students: Sherif Osama El-Sayed, Mahmoud Hesham Ahmed, Ahmed Sobhi Abdel-Fattah

Tracking The Monuments Project

Implemented by students Wafaa Sami Al-Sayed, Shahd Muhammad Muhammed, Mustafa Ahmed Abdel-Tawab.

Finally, a project: Imy_Duat, a journey to the other world

Implemented by students: Farida Maher Muhammad, Omnia Ahmed Ayoub

Thus, these projects will be promoted to the "Ain Shams Innovates 2023" competition at the university level.

The students presented the ideas of their innovations through the presentation, and discussed their ideas with the jury to study the possibilities and opportunities for actual implementation. The full work plan for the projects was also reviewed, and the methods of technical and technical support for project ideas were also discussed, as well as support in the field of business management, so that the idea goes out to the world.
