March 15th and 16th... Ain Shams University celebrates the Egyptian Women's Day and the Ideal Mother

Ain Shams University celebrates headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, on Wednesday and Thursday, corresponding to the 15th and 16th of March, the Egyptian Women’s Day and the Ideal Mother, in a major celebration organized by the Students for Central Egypt family under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and coordinating by Prof. Gehan Ragab, Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Hatem Rabih, a general leader of the Students for Central Egypt family at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Hind Al-Hilali, Director of the Women's Support and Anti-Violence Unit, Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of International Students and Mobility Office at the University, and Prof. Dina Farouk Abu Zaid, Director of the Media Center of Ain Shams University, and Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Development Affairs at the University.

Where the celebration activities are held on the 15th and 16th of March 2023, and the first day includes a package of activities and events that are held in parallel in each of the major conference halls of the university next to the Faculty of Pharmacy under the title (It is... a success story) as well as the ihub building on the university campus. Students, and events are held under the title (She is... a Pioneer), starting at eleven o'clock in the morning, in the presence of a group of public figures, pioneers and influencers.

The activities include a mobile unit for early detection of breast cancer within the initiative of the President of the Republic to support the health of Egyptian women and another campaign to detect osteoporosis on March 14-15-16, 2023 from 9 am to 2 pm on the campus of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in addition to a symposium "Your health... your beauty".

It is a series of awareness seminars on optimal nutrition for women to prevent various diseases and cancer and maintain health with age, in addition to information of interest to women about mental health and beauty. Prof. Hesham El-Ghazaly, Professor of Oncology and Director of the Research Center at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Hala Suwaid, Professor of Geriatric Medicine and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development. Dr. Hind Al-Helali, Director of the Women's Support and Anti-Violence Unit, in addition to a technical paragraph and the playing of a Prof. Ahmed Salem, professor of violin in the Department of Musical Education, Faculty of Specific Education. On the sidelines of the celebration, an art exhibition will be held to express the empowerment of women and their various issues.

Ain Shams University's celebration of Egyptian Women's Day is an annual tradition that the university is keen on in appreciation of the role of Egyptian women in achieving the goals of sustainable development and Egypt's vision 2030, in conjunction with the celebration of International Women's Day.
