Within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to raise awareness and raise the national sense among students, and its keenness to raise the cultural and scientific level and educate its students in various fields of knowledge and to benefit from competencies in all cultural, social and political fields, the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University organized a dialogue seminar entitled Egypt and soft powers (sports, art, and culture), Captain Al-Amri Farouk, former Minister of Sports and Vice President of Al-Ahly Club, hosted Prof. Khaled Al-Amiri, former dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at Cairo University, former head of the Veterinary Doctors Syndicate, and current rapporteur of the Book and Publishing Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture.

This is under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, in coordination with Prof. Hatem Rabie, the leader of the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University, the dialogue was moderated by Dr. Jihad Mahmoud, pioneer of the Students for Egypt family at the Faculty of Al-Alsun.

In his welcoming speech, Prof. Hatem Rabie, the leader of the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University, welcomed the guests, pointing out that the topic of the meeting, which is Egypt and soft powers (sports, art, and culture), is one of the most important topics on the scene, stressing that Egypt's strength lies in its soft power.

         
   
         

Prof. Khaled Al-Amiri spoke about his family upbringing in a family that loves the homeland and talked about his father and his brothers and his short career in football at Al-Ahly Club, where the injury prevented him from engaging in football and joining the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine by chance, which became his passion after that, and how his activity in student families affected his decisions and the formation of his personality and how it was Fate measures him in obtaining a scholarship to travel abroad, and he also spoke in awe of his wife's support for him during the years of his life.

His Excellency Mr. Al-Amri Farouk, the former Minister of Sports, expressed his happiness at being with his older brother, Prof. Khaled Al-Amiri, speaking about his appreciation and respect for the family in general, and about the role of the brother in his life, describing him as a supporter. He also talked about his feeling of pride in belonging to a loving, interconnected family.

     
 
     

He also talked about his beginning as a commercial marine officer and then leaving this field to manage the family's private business in the field of managing educational institutions, and His Excellency moved on by talking about the first elections for Al-Ahly Club at the age of 26, in which he excelled in advertising, and the result was that he won third place with a difference of 111 votes, with a total of more than 4000 votes, and from here came the challenge to run for the board of directors of Al-Ahly Club, and how he was the youngest member of the board of directors in Al-Ahly Club, where he He is running in the elections for two consecutive years, and he was assigned by Captain Saleh Selim to automate Al-Ahly Club electronically, and he was promoted from the Youth Board of Directors to the Adult Board of Directors, working on the sports file and the circumstances of his appointment as Minister of Sports in the most difficult time, which is the period of stopping sports activity and his vision for the Ministry of Sports until 2035 until he submitted his resignation Later, referring to his great happiness in his position as deputy of great value in the sports field, he is Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, President of Al-Ahly Club.

His Excellency also gave advice to young people, stressing the importance of numbers, data analysis, and planning in decision-making, that they are the soft power that will build this country, and that there is no room for fanaticism among all parts of this country.

At the end of the symposium, the shield of the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University was presented to His Excellency Captain Al-Amri Farouk, former Minister of Sports and Vice President of Al-Ahly Club, and Prof. Khaled Al-Amiri, former dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at Cairo University, former head of the Veterinary Doctors Syndicate, and current rapporteur of the Book and Publishing Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture.
