The Faculty of Law signs a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Law in Queen Mary University of London

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Colin Grant, Vice President of Queen Mary University, signed a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University and the Faculty of Law at Queen Mary University in the Kingdom United.

The signing of this agreement comes after continuous communication for more than a year between the two colleges' work teams concerned with international agreements.

         
   
         

Queen Mary University Law School is one of the best law schools in Britain.

In his speech, Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini noted the importance of this agreement, which allows for the start of work with Queen Mary University with the aim of granting joint degrees between the two universities at the bachelor's and doctoral levels, a proposition that was welcomed by representatives of Queen Mary University.

As for Dr. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty, he indicated that the two parties will start immediately, according to the cooperation agreement, in the joint organization of scientific conferences, starting with the next conference of the Faculty of Law in November 2023, as well as activating cooperation with regard to the exchange of researchers and professors, which will allow faculty staff and the teaching assistants to spend research periods at the prestigious Queen Mary University, in addition to the possibility of starting joint teaching between the two faculties in some courses as soon as the list of the English section is approved according to the approved hours.

         
   
         

The signing ceremony took place in the Council Hall of the Faculty of Law, in the presence of Prof. Ioannis Koukoris, Dean of International Affairs at Queen Mary University. The signing was also attended by Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, and Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Shafi'i, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Yassin Tharwat El-Shazly, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Ahmed Dehom, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Khaled Hamdy, Professor and Head of the Civil Law Department and Director of the French Division at the Faculty of Law, Dr. Hatem Abdel Rahman, Director of the Arbitration Center at the Faculty, and Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Director of the Faculty's International Cooperation Office.
