For the second week in a row and without interruption, the education sector and students continue to support the national project for literacy eradication under the slogan "A decent life without illiteracy", which was launched within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to participate in the presidential initiatives and based on Egypt's strategic vision for the year 2030 and in implementation of the initiative of His Excellency the President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and under the slogan "A decent life without illiteracy" and declaring Egypt free of illiteracy by 2030.
This is under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with academic coordination, Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, Director of the Center for Adult Education and Administrative Coordination, Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and the General Supervisor of the Cities Sector, Mr. Muhammad Abu Al-Azm, Secretary of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
And with the continuation of the activities of the literacy project, the total number of students this week reached 62 students, 215 student teachers, 14 supervisors from the Adult Education Center and various colleges, 20 supervisors from university dormitories headed by Mrs. Magda Hussein and Mr. Ahmed Farouk and Mr. Emad Al-Gohary, directors of university cities for male and female students, and external branches.
It is worth noting that literacy classes continue in the halls of Ain Shams University during weekdays and official holidays, and that the Adult Education Authority will continue to hold literacy exams for workers of companies cooperating with Ain Shams University and some workers who have not been literate in a previous stage on Sunday and Tuesday.
