Dr. Hatem Rabih, the pioneer of Family for Egypt, hosted the guest at the beginning of the symposium, and reviewed the activities of the Family of Students for Egypt at Ain Shams University during the previous period.

Mr. Abdul-Jawad Abu Kab expressed his pride and happiness in the first batch of the Faculty of Media and praised the activities of the family and its tangible efforts at the university, encouraging students to practice student activities and the quality of student activity that increases the level of intellectual and cultural awareness of young people.

The symposium began with an important question about how to find job opportunities in the era of artificial intelligence, as the subject seems to be easy, but it is very difficult and requires effort to reach it while arming with all means of science, culture, language skills and awareness to preserve identity, as the danger lies in the rumor that turns into reality and may You reach into questioning the Egyptian identity from the foreign media.

He added that the number of rumors that Egypt has been exposed to recently is very many, explaining that it is difficult to target Egypt militarily, but targeting internally, such as rumors targeting elections or what we use with a sense of humor, has a serious impact on creating and generating rumors.

He talked about the idea of targeting and how dangerous it is, because there are organized entities that spread rumors in a systematic and organized manner. It is unfortunate that Egyptian education is presented and targeted as weak, but in reality Egyptian scholars are the most sought-after in the countries of the world.

He also presented messages to educate young people about the importance of verifying any news or information, especially everything that is presented in a comic and sarcastic way, because it is directed and has a mysterious content that affects the thoughts of young people.

He touched on talking about the electronic brigades of the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as addressing issues related to the constants within the Egyptian family and the daily concerns that affect the citizen, referring to the problem of the "experimental fourth primary grade" and the rumors it raised in the WhatsApp groups of mothers and the circulation of discussions and controversy without knowing the source of the information.

He also warned the students against the danger of spreading and sharing rumors, as there are 164 Arabic-language websites from non-Arabic-speaking countries in international media.

He added a number of examples to a group of rumors that are easy to believe and sympathize with, and the use of media machines for foreign-supported rumors.

And he explained the methods of confronting rumors in the media at home and abroad, as the image of Egypt abroad is represented in everything we offer abroad, which is what is entrenched in minds without considering reality and facts.

He explained to the students the role of media faculties in terms of the need to pay attention to messages and media content presented that are able to compete globally in order to face the dangers of rumors and preserve identity. Humans have visions, ideas, and presentation of problems. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the media positioning of newspapers and websites, and pay attention to the media performance of modern channels, whose representation is determined by the strong presence of channels in all countries of the world, to exchange news and know the identity of each country, wondering how to convey the correct image of the Arab Republic of Egypt in a real way to the outside world. ?

He also called on them to provide meaningful content on social media, which is part of preserving identity, confronting rumors, developing their skills, and the need to have great skills, experience, and constructive ideas for the possibility of obtaining job opportunities, and drew attention to the need for us to be manufacturers of technology, not just consumers of it.

The symposium warned of the danger of free electronic applications because there are no free services, but in exchange for them obtaining information about users that is used in surveys, identifying needs and building insights.

The currently targeted personal identity risks may reach your personal phone that transmits all your movements with audio and video without your knowledge through unsafe applications and links..

Despite all this, there are institutions that are interested in providing informed and respectful media content, such as the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, the National Authority of the Supreme Council for Press, and the United Media Services.

In his speech, he valued the respected media effort made by a number of news channels, including Al-Qahera TV, the Documentary Channel, and Extra News.

The symposium concluded by drawing attention to the role of state institutions and agencies in spreading awareness of rights and duties, and conscious watching of directed channels and directed media, in order to prevent attempts to question national constants, beliefs and ideas, adherence to the Arabic language, and possess the skills and capabilities of dealing with the outside before the inside.

He also provided 59 training opportunities for students of the Family for Egypt from the Faculty of Media, and coordination will be made with the pioneer of the family in order to encourage them to practice media and gain experience that will help them join jobs and build a conscious generation of media professionals who are able to preserve their identity.
