In cooperation with the electronic portal.. The University Awards Office organizes its 30th meeting with university faculty staff who have received prestigious awards

Based on Ain Shams University's keenness to achieve excellence and competition, and as a continuation of Ain Shams University's leadership in the field of awards through its pioneering and distinguished scholars in various fields, and benefiting from the practical experience of the prestigious award recipients, the University Awards Office, in cooperation with the electronic portal, continued its meetings and held its 30th meeting in the presence of a group of faculty staff who have won prestigious local, regional and international awards, which was held at the University’s Networking and Information Technology Center on February 20, 2023.

The thirtieth meeting, which was held under the supervision of Dr. Islam Hegazy, Executive Director of the Center for Networking and Information Technology, Prof. Rasha Ismail, Director of the Electronic Portal, Prof. Alaa Abdel Halim Farag, General Supervisor of the Awards Office at the university, a group of faculty staff who are:

Dr. Salah Helal, Assistant Professor, Department of German Language, at the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University, who won the award for the best translated book at the Cairo International Book Fair - the 54th session of 2023.

Prof. Emad Hassan Ali Farag, Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University, who won the Best Researcher Award in the second edition of the International Research Awards in Advanced Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology and is included in Stanford University's global list of the best 2% of world scientists.

Prof. Suhair Safwat Abdel-Gayed, Professor of Sociology at the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University, recipient of the King Abdulaziz Prize for Scientific Research in Childhood and Development Issues in the Arab World for the year 2018.

Their Excellency pointed to the importance of the awards that each of them received, which are among the most prestigious awards. Where Dr. Salah Helal referred to the importance of the award and its value on the literary level, the importance of translation, his pride in the award, and his receipt of the award from Prof. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture.

While Prof. Emad Hassan referred to the prestigious scientific research in the field of specialization, which was published in specialized and internationally classified journals, in addition to many scientific projects, which were crowned with the awards he received and his inclusion in Stanford University's global list of the best 2% of the world's scientists in the latest edition.

Professor Suhair Safwat for her efforts to obtain the King Abdul Aziz Award for Scientific Research in Childhood and Development Issues in the Arab World for the year 2018 through a specialized research on the concept of active citizenship and its importance for the child and the family, and she had an initiative with this concept at the level of the Arab world. Her Excellency called on faculty staff to apply for the award, especially those who are pioneers in their field of specialization from among the areas open to the award.

Everyone showed the pioneering role played by Ain Shams University in supporting scientific research and researchers to obtain prestigious awards and the need for faculty staff to compete in all the prestigious awards currently offered, to contribute to the leadership of Ain Shams University and support the international classification of the university in this important field.
