The President of Ain Shams University receives the Director of the Regional Office of the German Authority for Cultural Exchange in Cairo

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, received Dr. Carsten Michael Walbeiner, Director of the Regional Office of the German Authority for Cultural Exchange DAAD in Cairo, in the presence of Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, Prof. Diaa Khalil, Senior Advisor to the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University and Professor of Electronic and Communication Engineering, at the Faculty of Engineering, at Ain Shams University, Dr. Mohamed El Behairy, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Jan Kratzer, Director of the Academic Director Center for Entrepreneurship and Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, Technical University of Berlin, Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University, and the coordinator of the winter training camp for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University in cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Center at the Technical University of Berlin, Mr. Paul Wolf, ISI4E project coordinator from the Technical University of Berlin, Mrs. Engy Nafie, Head of the Cairo Liaison Office.

         
   
         
         
   
         

For his part, Dr. Carsten Michael Walbiner, Director of the Regional Office of the German Authority for Cultural Exchange (DAAD) in Cairo, announced great financing opportunities for the Egyptian side in the coming period, especially for Ain Shams University, especially after the success witnessed by the joint projects between the two parties.

Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, referred to ways to support the researchers sector by supporting research projects, increasing programs for researchers, and also linking various programs with postgraduate studies to industry by concluding a number of partnerships with universities and international bodies.

         
   
         

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, affirmed that the university supports all activities that serve innovation and entrepreneurship, and projects that serve researchers and students in various disciplines.

Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, explained that a number of projects will be announced soon to serve students and researchers.

The meeting also witnessed a discussion of means of cooperation between the two parties.
