Examinations for undergraduate students for the four years of the mid-year exams for the bachelor's degree 2022/2023 have been launched at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, which started on the ninth of January, following the Christmas holidays, and continues until the twenty-sixth of January, divided into two periods per day and three exams per week, amid precautionary measures to ensure the safety of students.
The examination work witnessed an inspection tour by Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, of the examination halls and gates designated for the entry of students in accordance with the commitment to the rules of social distancing, in cooperation with the departments of civil defense and security and the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit at the faculty. She assured the presence of administrative and medical staff, each in his location, and explained that the exams are conducted for 2067 students in the first year, 2730 students in the second year, 2527 students in the third year, and 2582 students in the fourth year.
It closely followed the work of the administration of each committee and increased the number of spare searchlights in the event of a power outage while students were taking their exams.
And followed up on the regularity of the committee observers in their places, and she also directed the necessity of the subject teacher to respond to the students’ inquiries, and the preparations also included ensuring the readiness of the committees’ clinics and their presence throughout the examination periods to face any medical emergencies and take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of the students.
On the other hand, she reassured the appropriateness of the examination paper to measure the level of the student and to ensure the nature and directness of the questions and not deviate from the course.
And she stressed that the faculty administration is working effectively to provide the appropriate atmosphere for conducting exams in a decent manner, in accordance with the highest standards of commitment and discipline for all college employees, through integration between the faculty staff, the teaching assistants, employees, and the Department of Security and Civil Defense.
