Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, witnessed the announcement of the results of the self-sufficiency competition for theatrical representation, which was held in the Faculty of Girls Theatre, and 11 faculties participated in it, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, in the presence of Prof. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mustafa Essa, Director of the Artistic Activity Department, Prof. Hend Hamed, head of the Performing Arts Department at the Artistic Activity Department.
In his speech, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, said that the main goal of student activity is practice with the aim of unloading energies through the university that provides appropriate training, indicating that the real practice of activity, whether by actors or writers and even technicians in various university theaters, is a win for everyone, stressing that student activity does not, on the contrary, hinder one's studies, but rather makes one aware of how to manage time optimally, expressing his happiness with the participation of all university faculties in various student activities such as choir, theater and plastic arts; Emphasizing that the university sponsors all talented people, praising the distinguished arbitration committee in terms of academic and practical aspects, which made recommendations and observations for all the participating presentations with their positives and negatives in order to make maximum use of the activity. His Excellency also stressed that the amount of practice is much more important than the amount of prizes, asking students to always maintain the spirit of the hobby and enjoy what they do, even for those who are going to become a professional in art.
Stressing that the winner must realize that this is the beginning of the road and he must strive a lot in order to maintain his position.
His Excellency called on the winners not to be arrogant, for this is the beginning of the end, and for those who did not succeed, they must show the spirit of perseverance.
The judging committee, which consisted of director Islam Imam and critic artist Basem Sadek, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Professor of Criticism at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, and Professor Dr. Samir Shaheen, Professor and Head of the Decoration Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, announced the results, which were as follows:
The first place was won by the presentation of the inkwell by the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, and the presentation of "Ahdab" of the Faculty of Al-Alsun came in the second place, while the presentation of Compressors, but for the Faculty of Specific Education, came in the third place.
