The opening of applying for the winter training camp entitled "Sustainable Innovation and Industry 4.0" at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University (ASU-iHub) announces the opening of applying for the winter training camp under the title "Sustainable Innovation and Industry 4.0", which will be held from January 24 to February 8, 2023, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.

The camp is the second of the activities to be held within the ISI4Egypt program, which is a three-year program between the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University, and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Technical University of Berlin.

The camp aims to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and provide participants with the skills required by the Egyptian industry and promote intercultural dialogue. The camp brings together students from both countries, Egypt and Germany, by providing educational topics in the field of innovation, sustainability, innovation management, intellectual property and other related topics related to Industry 4.0. By working on realistic innovation business cases that address sustainability issues from a comprehensive and practical perspective with the support of project and industry partners, the camp offers a mixture of lectures from trainers with different experiences, team work within teams, mentoring sessions and field visits so that it is a complete and varied program.

The camp targets graduates of Ain Shams University between 2017 and 2022, and the duration of the camp is 8 days divided between online lectures and lectures at the center's headquarters. At the end of the camp, each team will have an innovative prototype that solves a real problem.
