On Thursday, December 15, the Faculty of Law held a workshop for students participating in mock trials in the name of the faculty for the academic year 2022/23 on how to use the legal rules available on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
The workshop was attended by members of teams participating in competitions (Oxford Competition for media law, Jessup Competition for Public International Law, Willem Vis for International Commercial Arbitration, Fifa Sports Law arbitration moot, in addition to the Arab mock trial team).
The workshop was also attended by students participating in the internal mock trial competition held by the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University for the first time.
Dr. Duaa Abu Talib presented the legal databases available on the Knowledge Bank in Arabic and English. The workshop also dealt with the mechanisms of using the available databases and how to link that to national, comparative, and international legal research.
This workshop, which was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty, comes in light of the Faculty's interest in raising the level of legal skills for its students in order to link the level of graduates to the labor market.
The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dehom, Vice Dean for Community and Environment Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Attar, Director of the English Division, and Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty.
