The activities of the training camp for male and female scouting clans of Ain Shams University were launched at the Port Said International Camp for Scouts and Girl Guides, which bears the slogan "Together towards a global citizen", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
The camp aims to raise the artistic, cultural, and scouting levels, achieve community development and volunteer work, and strengthen the skills of students to build a new generation of leaders and trainers, a generation capable of contributing to building a new republic, in the period from 9:12 of this December, as 100 people participated in the camp. A mobile and a mobile phone from the university clans from the faculties of (Arts, Engineering, Science, Commerce, Al-Alsun, Nursing, Specific Education, Antiquities, Agriculture, Girls, Computers and Information, and Education).
The students were divided into groups to raise the spirit of cooperation and acquaintance between the clans of the university's faculties. The first day's program included raising and saluting the flag, and a theoretical and practical lecture to explain scouting and cultural skills.
This is under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hamdi Musa, Advisor to the Scouting Committee, Mrs. Reham Muhammad Al-Atifi, who is in charge of the university’s assistant secretary for education and student affairs, Mr. Mohamed Sharkawy, Acting Director General of Youth Welfare, and Mrs. Asmaa Khater, Director of Scouting Management at the University.
