Ain Shams University continues to discover and develop the artistic talents of students, people with special needs, and children at the hands of a specialized elite at Kayan Center

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Osama El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, the entity center at the Faculty of Specific Education at Ain Shams University continues its training courses, which come within the framework of the idea and initiative launched by the education sector and students headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud to discover and develop artistic talents in music and playing through reviving the activity at the “Quality Services” Center at the College of Specific Education, whose marketing name is “Kayan”, under the full technical supervision of a group of the best-specialized professors of the Faculty of Specific Education, who are Dr. Marwa Amr Abdel Moneim and Dr. Ahmed Abdulrahman.

Both Dr. Marwa Abdel Moneim and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman said that the second course was launched in mid-November and will continue until mid-December. The number of participants includes 200 male and female students from various faculties of the university, including students of determination.

Where they are trained on piano, guitar, oud, drums, violin, and Arabic singing, with two lectures per week in an exceptional intensive course.

In an interview with a number of students participating in the training course, they confirmed that the amount of benefit from the courses is very large, especially since they are carried out according to an organized scientific method and studied steps. Some of them indicated that they had nothing to do with the artistic field, but they thought of joining the courses of the entity center after the success achieved by their peers, the graduates of the first batch of the center, and indicated that the methods and methods of learning combine the theoretical aspect with practical training, which enriches their artistic experience, and they emphasized Their eagerness to participate in the closing ceremony of their graduation, which will become a unique experience that they rarely find in any private centers for teaching the arts of playing, music and singing, and this is the most prominent characteristic of the courses of the Kayan center at Ain Shams University.

It is worth noting that the entity center teaches the Trinity Faculty London curriculum, as well as technically qualifying high school students to take admission tests for colleges and specialized music institutes, at the hands of prominent experts and academics in the field. University students receive entity center courses for free and with full support from the education and student affairs sector, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Sector Affairs. Talented students from outside the university can also enroll in specialized training courses to develop their talents, as the center provides community services towards gifted students and adopts the training of children from the age of 6 years and discovers their talents in playing various musical instruments.
