Visits to the field and practical training unit during the months of November and December 2022 at the Faculty of Archeology

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology and its Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Rawan Ahmed, Director of the Field and Practical Training Unit; In November and December, the Faculty of Archeology completed the schedule of field visits and training for the first and second levels in the various departments of the faculty as follows:

Archeology and Excavation Program:

- Visiting the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research in Helwan for the second level, on Tuesday 11/22 from ten in the morning until two in the afternoon, under the supervision of Dr. Syed Abdel-Alim, a professor of the subject and the one in charge of the training.

- Visiting the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research in Helwan for the first level, on Tuesday, 11/22, from ten in the morning until two in the afternoon.

Under the supervision of Dr. Emad El-Din Othman, professor of the subject and the one in charge of the training.

Museums and Archaeological Sites Management Program:

- Visit Wadi Al-Hitan and Wadi Al-Rayyan in Fayoum for the second level, on Tuesday 11/22 from ten in the morning until four in the afternoon

Under the supervision of Dr. Samar Hamdoun, professor of the subject and the one in charge of the training.

Islamic Archeology Program:

- Visiting the Museum of Islamic Art for the second level, on Thursday 24/11 from ten in the morning until two in the afternoon

Under the supervision of Prof. Asst. Dr. Nawal Jaber, professor of the subject and in charge of the training.

- Visiting the Complex of Religions for the first level, on Thursday 1/12/2022, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Under the supervision of Dr. Nora Muhammad Hussein, professor of the subject and in charge of the training.

Egyptian Antiquities Program:

- Visiting Saqqara and Dahshur for the second level, on Thursday 1/12/2022 from 8 am to 4 pm

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hassan Selim, professor of the subject and in charge of the training.
