Within the framework of Ain Shams University's interest, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, in entrepreneurship and encouraging students to start small projects, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center organized a workshop and an open discussion with an expert in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship: Terek Tidwell Director of Inclusive Innovation at VentureWell. , in the presence of Prof. Dr. Diaa Khalil, general supervisor of the activities of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Buhairi, Executive Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Sheikh, Director of the Technology Transfer Unit, and Dr. Islam Adly, Director of Activities, Innovation Clubs at the Centre.
During this meeting, they listened to Tidwell’s speech and then had an open discussion about their success stories in faculties and examples of excellent projects that are ready to go, that need funding, and many aspects of this way.
The workshop was attended by a large number of students and faculty staff in the faculties.
Tidwell also made a field visit to the university to meet Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and in this interview, a number of international cooperation avenues between Ain Shams University and VentureWell were discussed.
