For the second year in a row... Seminars Writer and Book at the Faculty of Girls

In the Faculty of Girls of Arts, Sciences and Education, Ain Shams University, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Hanan Al Shaer, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the Library Committee held its first symposium within the framework of the series of activities of Writer and Book’s seminars in its second year inside the halls of the Letters Library Hall In the library and via the Zoom platform, the editorial was distinguished by a special book on the concepts of excellence in university education by Prof. Dr. Kariman Bedir, Professor of Educational Psychology in the Department of Child Education at the Faculty, where she kindly presented a special presentation on the concepts of excellence in university education institutions, the requirements for achieving it, the criteria to be observed and the desired strategies Using it to achieve competitive advantage, how to manage excellence, and the reform approaches that should be strengthened to improve learning outcomes and lead educational institutions.

The symposium also resulted in the necessity of activating research groups entitled Action Research by selecting elite researchers in various fields and forming research teams from them, and through the integration of ideas and visions, urgent solutions are proposed to the problems facing the institution.

Prof. Dr. Samah Nasr, Professor of French Language and Literature at the Faculty and Rapporteur of the Library Committee for this academic year, managed the symposium and raised various questions to open research horizons about the concepts included in the symposium.

On the sidelines of the symposium, Prof. Dr. Kariman Bedair presented a wonderful selection of her latest books in the context of educational thought for kindergarten to the Faculty library, may God increase them from his abundant knowledge and grace.

The honorable attendance of Faculty staff, teaching assistants, postgraduate students, and Faculty students expressed their happiness with such educational seminars, which would enrich the thought and conscience of the attendees, and the library invites all its fans to benefit and increase from these cultural events held throughout the academic year.
