Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Arabic Language Department held an expanded cultural symposium on the works of Prof. Hassan Al-Bandari, entitled: “Hassan Al-Bandari between Creativity and Translation,” to discuss his works of Arabic novels and short stories in translation, in the Faculty Theater from nine in the morning until four in the afternoon.
The symposium was prepared by: Prof. Alaa Abdel Ghaffar Hilal, and Dr. Nagwa Shehata, and Dr. Shaban verses. The symposium was honored by the presence of: Prof. Amira Ahmed Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Heba Barakat and the Faculty of Community Service and Environmental Development.
The seminar was presented by Prof. Alaa Abdel Ghaffar Hilal, and started with the welcoming opening speech of Prof. Dr.: Azza Muhammad Abu Al-Naga, Chair of the Department Council, then delivered a speech. Prof. Mohamed Abd al-Salam Kamel, professor of Islamic studies in the department, a word about the efforts of Prof. Hassan Al-Bandari in Arab culture and the consolidation of national identity, and then Dr. Abd El-Rahim Zalat, former dean of the Faculty of Arts - Tanta University, delivered a poem in tribute to Professor Hassan al-Bandari and the guests.
Then the honoring time began, in which the former deans, and a number of professors and doctors who influenced the career of Prof. Hassan Al Bandary.
The symposium hosted a number of academic professors, critics, and researchers from various disciplines. English language, French language, sociology, psychology, philosophy, curricula and teaching methods, in five continuous sessions.

- Prof. Dr. Mary Abdullah Habib, Professor, Department of Psychology - Faculty of Women - Ain Shams University, Post title: Overview of Creativity.
- Prof. Dr. Osama El-Behairy, Professor and Head of the Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Arts - Tanta University, and President of the Sub-Syndicate of the Western Writers Union, Title of Participation: The Aesthetics of Place in the Novel of Mirrors of Jarrah.
- Prof. Dr. Azza Shebl, Professor of Linguistics at the Faculty of Arts - Cairo University, title of participation: Levels of Dialogue in the collection of stories (Sarabeel Al-Gadab).
- Dr. Salah Salama, teacher of Arabic literature in blended education at Ain Shams University, and at the Arab Academy, title of participation: Cultural Identity in the Novel of Unscathed Siham.
Participants of the second session were: Prof. Abd El-Radi Abd El-Mohsen, former dean of the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom (session chairperson) Title of participation: The intellectual contribution to the work of Dr. Hassan al-Bandari.
