The activities of the Ain Shams University Medical Convoy to Fayoum Governorate concluded, which succeeded, over two days, in providing free medical services to 2,531 citizens, within the framework of Ain Shams University's participation in the presidential initiative "A Decent Life".
Where the convoy organized by the Community Service Affairs and Environmental Development Sector at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with Fayoum Governorate, began its work, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ansari, Governor of Fayoum, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and general supervision, Prof. Dr. Hala Sweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, supervised by Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Sector Affairs.
The medical convoy, which was held at the headquarters of the Teachers Syndicate, witnessed a great turnout for clinics of the heart, children, neurosurgery, general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, nose, ear, and skin, in addition to measuring pressure, diabetes, nursing, and dispensing medicines for free from the convoy pharmacy in cooperation between the Faculties of Medicine and Nursing at Ain Shams University.
Dr. Mohamed Emad, Deputy Governor of Fayoum, conducted a visit and an inspection tour of the convoy's headquarters, during which was accompanied by Mr. Suhail Hamza, Secretary of Ain Shams University, Assistant for Community Service and Environmental Development Sector Affairs.
Ain Shams University continues its active participation in the presidential initiative, a dignified life, by continuing to launch a series of comprehensive medical and development convoys to various parts of the Republic to implement the goals of sustainable development in accordance with Egypt's Vision 2030.
