The Vice President of Ain Shams University inspects the Faculty of Science Student Union Elections Committee immediately after the start of the election marathon

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Supervising Elections at the University, visited the headquarters of the Electoral Committee for the elections of the Student Union of the Faculty of Science to check on the smooth and easy workflow in accordance with the regulations and laws governing the elections, as the student union elections committees for the current academic year at Ain Shams University began receiving students wishing to run for elections since early morning at the headquarters of the youth welfare departments in the faculties.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud during his tour was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Eman Abdel-Azim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

During his tour, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud conducted a parental dialogue with a number of students wishing to withdraw candidacy forms for the elections of student unions, to find out the extent to which they realize the main objective of their participation in this democratic experiment.

His Excellency stressed the need for students to practice the electoral process with transparency and integrity amidst strict precautionary and preventive measures, pointing out that the student’s participation in the electoral experience inside the university refines their personality and educates them politically to qualify them to engage in political life outside the university and practice public work to serve society and the country to present to our dear Egypt conscious and educated youth capable of running political and social life with awareness.

The elections are conducted under the supervision of the Higher Committee for Elections at Ain Shams University, and they are a committee headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and General Supervisor of Elections, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Tamer Abdel Moneim Rady, professor at the Faculty of Commerce and the committee's liaison officer, and Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi, who is managing the work of the Assistant Secretary of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Acting Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Malik, Director General of Legal Affairs, and students, Mustafa Mahmoud Al-Sayed, the fourth year, Faculty of Law, and student Hadeer Ismail Bakr, the third year, Faculty of Commerce.
